Jessie Lee, M.D

Dr. Jessie Lee grew up in Seoul and graduated from Korea University School of Medicine in 1981. She then completed four years of residency training in anatomic pathology at St. Luke’s – Roosevelt Hospital Center, affiliate of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. Thereafter, she continued her training during a two year fellowship in Dermatopathology at Boston University School of Medicine.

Before moving to Atlanta, Dr. Lee served as associate director and senior consultant in Dermatopathology at Quest Diagnostics’ mid-Atlantic region. She joined Skin Cancer Specialists, P.C. in 2012 after working for four years at North Georgia Dermatopathology, P.C.

Dr. Lee is board-certified in Dermatopathology, cytopathology, and anatomic pathology. She has 30 years of experience in pathology, and her areas of interest include skin and soft tissue tumors, inflammatory dermatoses, and immunohistopathology. She has published multiple articles in the leading Dermatopathology and Dermatology journals. She is also a member of several medical societies including the American Society of Dermatopathology, the International Society of Dermatopathology, and the Atlanta Association for Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery.

In addition to working with microscopes, Dr. Lee enjoys spending time with her nieces, swimming, reading, knitting, and drawing. Recently, her drawing is mostly limited to American girl dolls by the demands of her young nieces.
