Leah C. Shupe, NP-C, is a standout Georgia peach in every way. A Peachtree City native, she studied at three of our state’s top schools. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with honors at Georgia Tech and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Kennesaw State University. She then became a distinguished Woodruff Scholar at Emory University where she earned her Master of Science in Nursing. Her belief in the power of education means better service for her patients. She constantly researches new treatments to ensure she’s providing the very best care.
Her many years of dedicated service and frequent peer recognition set her apart from the pack. As an RN at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, her fellow nurses nominated her to serve as the president of the Shared Governance unit. She has also served as a preceptor for new RN’s just entering the field. Leah, having worked in family practice, addiction medicine and dermatology, was recently inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She joins Skin Cancer Specialists, P.C. & Aesthetic Center after working at another dermatology office. The focus of her practice is general dermatology.
Leah enjoys traveling with her husband and keeping up with her two small children.
