Resurfx Laser Treatments
As skin gets older, it becomes much more susceptible to sun damage, wrinkles, fine lines, and other signs of aging. For women and men seeking to improve their complexion, they’ll need more than just advanced skin serums and creams.
Skin Cancer Specialists, P.C. & Aesthetic Center is excited to offer Resurfx laser treatments – the ultimate experience in non-ablative, fractional laser technology!
What Are Resurfx Laser Treatments?
The Resurfx laser is designed to treat skin issues caused by sun damage, aging, and hormonal issues. Unlike traditional laser resurfacing treatments, Resurfx laser treatments stimulate collagen production in the skin for instant tightening and youth enhancement.
This means that there’s minimal recovery time, and patients don’t have to worry about peeling or scabbing in the first few weeks after the treatment.
What is the procedure like?
The Resurfx laser delivers laser energy in tiny dots to the dermis; over the course of the procedure, collagen production is instantly triggered and stimulated. The heat energy also causes skin contracting for an immediate tightening appearance.
The treatment takes about 20 minutes to administer. Cooling air is used throughout the procedure to help minimize any discomfort associated with the heat.
After your procedure, you should wear sunscreen with SPF of 30 or higher, since your skin will be more sensitive than normal.
How Many Treatments Will I Need?
Most patients will need at least three to four treatments in order to see ideal results. These treatments should be scheduled about a month apart.
What Does the Resurfx Treat?
The Resurfx laser is designed to treat multiple skin issues in just a few sessions. Common skin issues include:
- Sun damage
- Fine lines
- Uneven skin tone and texture
- Loose skin
- Acne scars
- Stretch marks
